DIM SUM MASTER CLASS
WITH TWO MICHELIN-STARRED MING COURT


Langham Place offers meeting guests world-class private cooking experiences.

Get up close and personal with the renowned Ming Court chefs and discover the art of dim sum making.

During the one-hour master class you’ll learn the techniques, tips and tricks to creating your own perfect dim sum treats.

Following the class you’ll make your way to chef Tsang’s very own two Michelin starred Ming Court where you’ll get to enjoy the fruit of your labour (along with dim sum made by our own masters).

HK$10,000 for up to 12 people.

Additional people will be charged at HK$600 per-person. To ensure each class remains intimate, the class size is limited to a maximum of 20 people. Seven days advance booking is required. Master Classes are subject to availability. A 10% service charge applies in addition to the above stated prices.


MONGKOK MARKET TOURS – FREE OF CHARGE

Experience the real Hong Kong with a free walking tour of the surrounding markets. Lasting about 35 minutes, the tour takes in the eclectic lights, flavours, aromas and bustle of market shopping in Mongkok, Hong Kong. Guests will get to experience famous bazaars such as the ‘Ladies Market’ and a variety of electronic, live fish and fresh produce markets.

The tour can be conducted in English, Cantonese and Japanese and departs daily from the hotel at 6:00pm.


IPOD ART TOURS – FREE OF CHARGE

All meeting guests are invited to experience our iPod Art Tour free of charge.

The hotel owns more than 1,500 pieces of contemporary Chinese art estimated to hold a readily increasing value of more than HK$20 million. The collection includes pieces by numerous legendary Chinese artists including Wang Guangyi, Yue Minjun and Jiang Shuo.

The iPod art tour takes guests from the ground level to the 41st floor highlighting the hotel’s top 21 pieces. Via the iPod, Angela Li, Langham Place’s art consultant guides the guest explaining the philosophy and history of the art and artist and the key contributors guiding the artist.

The tours are conducted in English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese and are free for all guests to experience. The iPod tour is accompanied with a complimentary take-home petite box-set guide with image prints and written explanations in English and Traditional Chinese.

Guests can do the tour at their own leisure seven days a week from 6:00am – 11:00pm.


THEMED COFFEE BREAKS

Play Me

After a long morning of meetings, reverting back to a kid can be just the thing to clear the mind and reset inspiration levels. Langham Place has a themed Play Me break complete with Wii games, remote control helicopters and cars. Play by yourself or set a team challenge. And of course, it wouldn’t be a true party without some good old fashioned party food…think back to childhood parties with jellybeans, chips and soda.

Health Kick

For the health conscious, Langham Place’s Health Kick break is designed to stimulate and refresh the brain and can be personalised to suit individual meeting requirements. With the help of nutritionists, Langham Place has developed an extensive range of juices, shakes, shots and snack food full of vitamins and minerals to kick-start the imagination and improve concentration levels.

Dai Pai Dong

Perfect for Chinese food lovers, this themed break brings to life ‘Dai Pai Dong’; the Chinese food stall scene. Particularly popular with those wanting to experience a bit of ‘real’ Hong Kong without leaving the hotel, guests immerse themselves in this traditional environment complete with stalls, Chinese tea trolleys, and sensational Cantonese dim sum.
