Langham Place, Mongkok, Hong Kong is happy to announce the appointment of Mr. Simon McHendry as Executive Assistant Manager – Rooms. With experience stretching over 15 years, Simon has stayed loyal to the Langham group, working his way up in front office and sales at a number of its hotels worldwide.
Born in the UK, Simon began his career at the flagship The Langham, London before coming across to Hong Kong in 2004 to join the opening and development of the first ever Langham Place holding management positions in both front office and sales. Most recently he opened Langham Place, Beijing Capital Airport as Director of Sales & Marketing. Simon returns to the innovative Langham Place, Mongkok, Hong Kong to manage overall rooms operations. "It is so great to be back. We've got even more competition in the city this time around so I look forward to working with our super dynamic team here to raise our service and product bar in the unconventional, play and artful, and always engaging, Langham Place way." says Simon.
