This Mother’s Day, Mums may head to the heart of the city, Langham Place, Mongkok, Hong Kong, where the sweetest treats designed for the sweetest Mum are available throughout the hotel.

THE JAPANESE JEWEL

Mums at Tokoro – Robatayaki & Whisky Bar may enjoy a culinary journey and the chance to win a bespoke styling service by the fabulous Thomas Pink, the leading luxury international shirt brand, specialising in the design and production of quality shirts and associated accessories for men and women. Fashionable Mums having dinner at Tokoro on Mother’s Day will be invited to define their sense of style for a chance to win a HK$2,000 Pretty in Pink voucher by Thomas Pink, and the personal styling session.

The culinary pros at Tokoro – Robatayaki & Whisky Bar have crafted a six course menu to mark the occasion, with dishes including sweet plum wine, supreme Hokkaido scallop tartar, premium abalone uni yaki, seasonal Hokkaido kinki fish, Teppan grill and other irresistible fare.

SURE-TO-IMPRESS FEAST

Over 80 goodies at The Place including luxurious abalone, freshly shucked oysters, a Peking duck live station by day, pan-seared foie gras by night and handmade bird’s nest desserts will be available for guests to tuck into.

Guests are invited to decorate cup cakes with the chefs for Mum during the Mother’s Day lunch buffet.

MUM’S MING COURT

At two-Michelin star Ming Court, Executive Chef Mango Tsang Chiu Lit presents a variety of celebratory dishes and dim sum specials to Mum using the finest ingredients and authentic Cantonese flavours.

Mum’s experience will be elevated by a gourmet lunch and dinner degustation. Highlights of the menus include the award-winning Eight Treasure Consommé made with premium fish maw and abalone (for lunch) and Superior Bird’s Nest, Double-Boiled with a choice of Coconut Milk, Almond Cream, Ginger Sauce, Red Dates, Crystal Rock Sugar or American Ginseng (for dinner).

Delicate dim sum specials include Bird’s Nest Egg Tart, Bake and Bird’s Nest, Fresh Fruit, Coconut Milk, Chilled.

The “Sweet Treat for the Sweetest Mum package” will be available from 10:00am to 4:00pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays throughout May and June 2013 at Portal – Work & Play and Chuan Spa, teaming up together in celebration of Mum.

Priced at HK$888*, the package includes a 60-minute Chuan Harmony massage at the award-winning Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) inspired Chuan Spa and an afternoon tea set for two at Portal – Work & Play with a choice of: SINFUL for the sweet-tooth, TOMORROW for the ultra sophisticate, EAST for the oriental saveur, and FOREVER for a timeless treat.
