ART FOR CHARITY AT LANGHAM PLACE, MONGKOK, HONG KONG
Continuing to give back and support artistic initiatives, the art gallery-masquerading hotel, Langham Place, Mongkok, Hong Kong is about to team up with the award-winning photographer, Donald Chiu and top Hong Kong model Eunis Chan at a showcase of a unique collection of 16 photos from her latest photo book, yān, in support of the Hong Kong Cancer Fund’s Pink Revolution.
The photographic exhibit will be held at the lobby of Langham Place hotel between 18 and 31 January 2013 during which, the 16 unique photos will be available for an open bid auction. The highest bidder for each photo will take home the work of art and be hosted at a celebrity lunch with Eunis.
Part of the proceeds from the book’s sales and the open auction will be donated to Hong Kong Cancer Fund’s Pink Revolution to promote the importance of breast cancer awareness, support Cancer Fund’s free breast cancer services and help those impacted by breast cancer.
Yān reveals Eunis’ enchanting side against a stunning backdrop of exotic Eastern Europe in Prague. In this series of gorgeous photos, the famous celebrity photographer, Donald Chiu, effortlessly showcases Eunis’ sense of courage, confidence and joy.

Langham Place Hotel and Art
Langham Place, Mongkok, Hong Kong is home to more than 1,500 pieces of contemporary Chinese art. This is believed to be one of the world’s largest collections. The collection was created by Langham Place’s art consultant Angela Li and includes pieces by numerous legendary Chinese artists including Wang Guangyi, Yue Minjun and Jiang Shuo. The hotel profiles the top 21 pieces through free iPod art tours that can be conducted anytime between 6:00am – 11:00pm. The hotel also features quarterly Art in Residence exhibitions profiling leading international artists.
