CHINESE NEW YEAR AT LANGHAM PLACE, MONGKOK, HONG KONG

The five star Langham Place, Mongkok, Hong Kong comes alive with traditional Chinese New Year celebrations in festive February. TWO-MICHELIN STAR NEW YEAR DELIGHTS
A traditional must-have, Ming Court’s favourite Chinese New Year puddings are freshly crafted using homemade recipes, naturally flavoured and ideal to take home for wishes of prosperity for the year. The original Chinese New Year pudding is priced at $188 and the Turnip pudding at $198, elegantly packed to share with family, friends and business partners. Orders will be taken from 1 January until 9 February 2013, or until sold out.

MING COURT’S DAZZLING, CELEBRATORY TREATS
This Chinese New Year, Executive Chef Tsang and his culinary team will be serving up a variety of dazzling, celebratory dishes and dim sum specials at Ming Court in true Cantonese style. Available from 10 to 24 February 2013, Chinese New Year signatures on the menu include Vegetarian Bamboo Pith Roll, Black Truffle, Superior Broth, plated with shaved black truffle on a bamboo pith roll, and Sweet Potato, Chicken Consommé, Spotted Garoupa Fillet, Simmered that will inspire each and every sense with its saffron aroma.

Auspicious dim sum specials include Deboned Chicken Wing, Sea Cucumber, Abalone Sauce, Golden Custard Cake, Coated with Ground Peanuts, Sesame, Coconut Flake and many more…

Elevating the culinary experience for the city’s favourite festival, Wine Guy Zach Yu brings out the best of Ming Court’s innovative dishes and dim sum specials by pairing them with Champagne. THE PLACE’S TEMPTING FEAST
All-day-dining favourite, The Place, will offer a Chinese New Year feast to kick off the Year of the Snake.

Perfect for the whole family, the festive buffet includes over 88 items, including the day’s jet-fresh catch from the sea, a live Beijing Duck Station, “Pun Choi” (the big bowl feast originating from Hong Kong’s Hakka village cuisine), Golden pudding, “TangYuan” (the glutinous rice balls that symbolises family togetherness) and the cute Chinese marshmallow bunny.
