The bells are ringing as Langham Place Hotel jingles its way to Christmas. Lead by Executive Chef Paul McLoughlin and the culinary crew at modern luxury hotel, Langham Place, Mongkok, Hong Kong, the merriment in Mongkok is about to step up its festive feel. To Charity We Go
Continuing its efforts to give back, Langham Place Hotel will donate HK$1 per guest dining at all of its banqueting events, restaurants and lounges to Half the Sky Foundation from the 24th through to 31st December. Earlier this year, the hotel held a Midsummer’s Christmas in Mongkok children’s fundraiser for Half The Sky Foundation as part of its ongoing I LOVE MONGKOK campaign, helping to raise homes for orphaned children in China.
Luxurious, Velvety and Superbly Sexy
The hotel’s decadent, innovative Chocolate Egg Nog makes its debut this Christmas. Homemade and deliciously silky, the new Chocolate Egg Nog will be complimentary for all guests on the 24th and 25th December 2012, between 7:00-8:00pm at Portal – Work & Play, during the hotel’s change of day signature moment*. From the 22nd to 26th December, dinner buffet guests of The Backyard and The Place will also be treated to the velvety new drink, envisaged to become somewhat of a tradition innovator for the hotel…sips of swirliness are approaching…
All-day dining favourite, The Place, will offer a spread of cheerful Christmas fare including Canadian crab, shellfish, freshly shucked oysters, sashimi, roast turkey with all the trimmings, and French foie gras freshly seared on live stations…Topping the feast off will be Christmas puddings with brandy sauce, log cakes, fresh macaroons and more joyful goodies…including its new Chocolate Egg Nog and piping Egg Nog Lattes.
Entertainment will be in full swing with gingerbread decorating stations, Santa and balloonists on the 24th and 25th December in house to spread the season’s spirit.

Merry gourmet barbecues under the stars at The Backyard outdoor deck will include jet-fresh seafood, freshly-cut barbequed wagyu beef, New Zealand lamb rack, grilled lemon thyme marinated spring chicken and more gorgeous grills. Guests of The Backyard will be invited to enjoy The Place’s buffet and offered a complimentary glass of the hotel’s homemade Chocolate Egg Nog or a warming Ginger Egg Nog.

Japanese Head Chef Nishimura Daisuke’s exclusive 6-course Japanese Christmas Omakase dinner menu is set to be a great getaway if you’re in the mood for an Asian Christmas. Priced at HK$700, the menu will be available at Tokoro – Robatayaki & Whisky Bar from the 24th to the 31st December. As a grand finale to the Roppongi-styled restaurant, guests can step into Tokoro Whisky Bar for liquid gold single malts and blended whiskies.
