General manager Shaun Campbell said, "It'll be quite an unrivalled sight when we will be turning off all external signage and lights in the forecourt, lobby, restaurants, bars and Chuan Spa." "I'm so proud of our staff and thank for their support to Earth Hour. We're definitely still open for business and will be more alive than ever, many of our guests look forward to participating this annual significant activity and I hope we add up our actions and go beyond the hour to love and save the Earth." said Shaun. Guests staying in the hotel will be invited to turn their room lights off and join the event in The Backyard. Langham Place has been working hard since opening in 2005 to minimise the impact on the environment, the hotel is one of Hong Kong's only ISO14001 environmentally certified and Green Globe benchmarked properties and has a variety of initiatives in place to engage both guests and staff in environmental awareness.
