Chuan Spa encourages a complete spa
experience for the body and
mind. Our Hong Kong Spa is built upon
the foundations of Traditional
Chinese Medicine (TCM), with
an emphasis on the harmony of
contrasting forces eloquently
known as yin and yang. The power
of Wu Xing - the five elements
of wood, fire, earth, metal
and water are the main pillars
of TCM and have been harnessed
in the professional development

An exclusive range of oils,
shampoos, lotions, hair masks,
incense and even teas matching
each of the five elements are
used in the signature spa treatments at the Chuan Spa Hong Kong.
On arriving at the Health Cub and Chuan Spa to begin your journey you will
complete a sensory self-assessment
detailing preferences in colour,
food, seasons and detail any
recent significant events. This
is augmented with a scent test
of five Wu Xing elements to
determine the appropriate product
for your treatment.
You will then be lead to an
elegant changing room complete
with Onsen-style showers, Oriental
hot tub, and steam room before
transcending down cool grey
stone steps from the Health Club and gym, past an impressive
wall of cascading water to emerge
in a lower level of treatment
rooms at Chuan Spa. These are based around the symbol
of the eight primary trigrams
of the I Ching, which is said
to represent Nature's archetypes.
After drifting away during your
treatment you will then be escorted
to our relaxation rooms, to
enjoy a Chuan tea while contemplating
your next visit to our Hong Kong Health Club.
